AYL Universe is in need of interns for the following roles:
1. Talent Manager (Intern)
The Talent/Artiste Manager serves as the chief strategist and operational backbone for an artist’s career. They align creative vision with business opportunities, oversee day-to-day operations, handle contract negotiations, and build long-term brand equity across music, media, touring, and corporate partnerships.
Key Responsibilities
Career Strategy & Vision: Develop and execute short- and long-term strategic career roadmaps, including album rollouts, touring schedules, and brand positioning.
Business Operations & Logistics: Oversee daily scheduling, travel logistics, team coordination (stylists, band members, publicists), and budget management.
Contract Negotiation & Business Development: Source and negotiate commercial deals, record labels or distribution agreements, brand sponsorships, publishing deals, and live performance bookings in collaboration with legal counsel.
Brand & Identity Management: Guard and enhance the artist’s public image across traditional media, digital platforms, and industry events.
Team Leadership: Hire and manage a dedicated team of third-party vendors, including booking agents, PR agents, attorneys, business managers, and creative directors.
Financial & Administrative Oversight: Track revenue streams (royalties, sync licensing, touring, merch), review financial statements, and ensure budget discipline.
Qualification
* Passion for music and entertainment.
* Post-secondary education (ND, NCE, Degree, etc). Students in tertiary schools (colleges, polytechnics or universities) can apply.
*Contacts of entertainers.
*Ability to work remotely with little or no supervision.
2. Social Media Manager (Intern)
The Social Media Manager drives brand presence, narrative, and community engagement across digital platforms. This role combines creative storytelling with analytical rigor to grow an audience, build brand loyalty, and deliver measurable business outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
Content Strategy & Creation: Plan, edit, and publish high-quality multimedia content (short-form video, graphics, copy) tailored to specific platform algorithms (Instagram, TikTok, X, YouTube, LinkedIn).
Editorial Calendar Management: Maintain a dynamic social content calendar aligned with product launches, events, campaigns, and cultural moments.
Community Management: Actively engage with fans, followers, and creators in comments, direct messages, and brand mentions to foster an active community.
Analytics & Reporting: Monitor performance metrics (reach, engagement rate, conversion, follower growth), generating actionable insights to refine future content strategies.
Trend Forecasting: Stay ahead of viral trends, platform updates, audio trends, and emerging social technologies to keep the brand relevant.
Paid Social Collaboration: Work alongside performance marketers or media buyers to amplify high-performing organic content and ensure brand consistency across paid campaigns.
