The Students Union Government (SUG) of Nasarawa State University, Keffi (NSUK) has started campaigns for its 2022 elections, which is scheduled to hold on 13th December, 2022.
One of the top contenders in the forthcoming elections is Eneh Maria Ameh, who is aspiring for the position of Senator, representing Angwan Kare.
Though a lady contesting in a society where politics is dominated by men, she has shown resilience, boldness, courage and patrotism as it takes only a strong heart to aspire.
According to Eneh, the three major reasons why she is contesting are:
1. To represent and protect the rights and interests of NSUK students.
2. To give hope to the hopeless by encouraging zealousness amongst students.
3. To promote and encourage female participation in politics.
Without doubt, Eneh is the best candidate for the job. For it is said that; "What a man can do, a woman can do better."
