Nigerian Man From Nasarawa State, Raphael Galleh Wins "Best Poster Prize" in United Kingdom



A Nigerian man known as Raphael P. Galleh who is running his Doctorate degree (Ph.D) at Sheffield University, United Kingdom has emerged the overall Access Microbiology "Best Poster Prize" winner at the just concluded 2022 Microbiology Society Annual Conference, which was held in Dublin, Ireland.


Raphael, who hails from Nasarawa State and is also a lecturer at the department of Microbiology, Nasarawa State University, Keffi (NSUK) is on study leave in the United Kingdom and has been representing Nigeria very well. He is currently serving as the International Students Ambassador (representing Africa, especially Nigerian students) at the University of Sheffield.


The young lecturer is married and his wife gave birth in the United Kingdom to a beautiful baby girl in 2021. 


With his great resilience and hardwork, there's no telling to what more he will achieve. This goes a long way to show that Nigerians are brilliant and smart, and are doing extraordinary things outside the shores of this country.
